Our story

Building Zimbabwe's integrated metals story.

From the chrome reserves of the Great Dyke to the recycling yards of Harare, Amulya Holdings is one of the few companies producing finished metallurgical products entirely inside Zimbabwe — and shipping them to specialty steel customers around the world.

Our mission

Add value to Zimbabwe's mineral wealth — at home.

For decades, Zimbabwe has shipped raw chrome ore for a fraction of its value, while finished alloys are imported back at a premium. We exist to reverse that flow — beneficiating, refining, and exporting finished metallurgical products to specialty steel customers worldwide, and keeping the jobs, the skills, and the value chain inside Zimbabwe.

Our vision

An African industrial brand customers trust.

To be a name that buyers worldwide recognise for clean chemistry, reliable shipments, and honest commercial terms — and to set a benchmark for what a modern, integrated, Zimbabwean industrial platform can look like.

The platform

Three companies, one commercial home.

Each of our operating companies stands on its own commercially — and together they form an integrated platform that customers can rely on.

Advanced Recycling Co

Professional Zimbabwean metal recycling — buying ferrous, aluminium, brass, and stainless scrap from industry and trade, and producing export-grade processed material.

Chrome Ore Mine

Operating chrome mine on Zimbabwe's Great Dyke producing premium 50% Cr₂O₃ low-silica concentrate for stainless and ferro-alloy customers.

ULC Ferrochrome

Production of ultra-low-carbon ferrochrome (70% Cr · <0.05% C) via clean aluminothermic process — the alloy of choice for specialty stainless and aerospace mills.

Why Zimbabwe

The world's second-largest chrome reserves, the people to process them.

Zimbabwe sits on more than 12 billion tonnes of chrome reserves — second only to South Africa — and a deep pool of metallurgical talent that traces back to the ZISCO and Zimasco era. The country also offers stable USD-denominated trade, a fixed 5% chrome royalty, and an open road corridor through Beira to global ports.

For an integrated metals platform, it's where the resource, the skills, and the economics line up.
